New dance show for Comic Relief

Claudia Winkleman
Claudia Winkleman wil host the show along with Steve Jones

Claudia Winkleman and Steve Jones are to host a celebrity dance show as part of this year's Red Nose Day campaign.

Let's Dance For Comic Relief will see a host of celebrities pay homage to iconic dance routines in a bid to wow viewers with their moves.

Each week, stars will recreate a number of famous dances from movie classics like Saturday Night Fever and pop videos, such as Thriller.

The series, which will run over four weeks, begins on Saturday 21 February.

The yet-to-be announced acts will include a mix of solo dancers, duos and groups, who will work with a team of top choreographers to master the dance moves.

They will then take to the floor to perform in front of a live studio audience and a panel of experts.

Each week, viewers will vote for their favourite dancers until someone is crowned the Let's Dance For Comic Relief Champion on 14 March.

Proceeds from the voting will go to Comic Relief.
