John Sergeant's final dance

John Sergeant has danced for a final time on BBC1's Strictly Come Dancing, after he quit earlier this week, saying he feared he would win.

Sergeant consistently received low marks from the show's judges, but the voting public had chosen to keep him in the competition.

Speaking to host Bruce Forsyth after his waltz, he denied he had been forced to leave the show, saying it had been "strictly fantastic".

He also took the opportunity to praise his "beautiful and brilliant" dance partner Kristina Rihanoff.
