Actress Sadie Frost is to appear on the West End - 23 years after her last stage appearance.

The 43-year-old will appear in Touched... For The Very First Time, a one-woman play set in 1980s Manchester at the Trafalgar Studios in February.

The play takes its title from a line in Madonna's song Like A Virgin, although the star has not endorsed the play.

It is Frost's first stage role since 1986, when she appeared in Mumbo Jumbo at Manchester's Royal Exchange Theatre.

Frost later took roles in films such as The Krays and Bram Stoker's Dracula. Music fans also remember her as the star of Pulp's Common People video.

Her last high-profile film was 2001's Rancid Aluminium, after which she concentrated on a business career - including the fashion label FrostFrench, which went into administration earlier this year.

Frost is also the ex-wife of actor Jude Law, with whom she has three children.

Touched... For The Very First Time opens on 4 February, 2009 for a limited run.
