Illegal music downloads are putting the squeeze on the British Asian record industry.

Record labels say they have seen an 80% drop in sales over the past five years - and more than 20 independent labels have gone out of business.

The rate of fall in Asian music sales is estimated to be double that of the UK's mainstream music market.

Here - the BBC's Asian Network speaks to music producers, performers and retailers about how their industry is changing - and catches up with music fans at its recent Uni Tour gig at Gatecrasher in Birmingham.
