Barack Obama was elected the first black US president last week
President-elect Barack Obama's two daughters have been invited to appear on the children's TV show Hannah Montana, musician Billy Ray Cyrus said.
Cyrus is the father of the show's star, Miley Cyrus, and also plays her dad on the Disney series.
He said Malia, 10, and Sasha Obama, 7, had been asked to take part in an episode to be filmed next year.
Speaking to US channel Access Hollywood, he said: "They probably will. The invitation is there."
He added: "You know the Hannah Montana film comes out in April. Maybe something might happen around then."
However he refused to reveal anymore details as he said it must be kept a "secret".
