Berry reveals she thinks lingerie and men's forearms sexy

Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry has been voted the "sexiest woman alive" by readers of Esquire magazine in the US.

In this month's edition, the star poses in a parody of a 2000 cover photograph of former US President Bill Clinton.

She said of winning the title: "I don't know exactly what it means but, being 42 and having just had a baby, I think I'll take it."

The Monster's Ball actress added: "I know damned well I'm sexier now than I used to be."

Esquire dressed Berry in a racier version of Clinton's suit jacket and blue tie for its 75th anniversary cover.

Berry was the first black woman to win an Oscar for best actress in 2002 for her role in the drama Monster's Ball.

Her other films include Swordfish, Die Another Day and the X-Men series.

The star, who gave birth to a baby girl in March, told the magazine she found men's forearms, spaghetti and lingerie sexy.

Berry has been married and divorced twice.

Her first marriage was to baseball player David Justice and she adopted the daughter of her second husband, musician Eric Benet, but the couple broke up in 2003.

"There are a few men I should thank, and others I need to forget," she wrote in Esquire.

"But I don't regret. To hell with regret. I like what I am now.

"I like being a mother. I like my body better since I became a mother. I feel sexier as a result of becoming a mother."
