Hirst auction 'due to fetch £65m'

A London auction of new works by artist Damien Hirst is expected to fetch more than £65m, Sotheby's says.

The Beautiful Inside My Head Forever sale, features 223 lots including sketches and paintings with four items being sold for charity.

The Golden Calf - a preserved bull crowned by a solid gold disc - is expected to fetch between £8m and £12m.

Hirst said the work was being auctioned because it was more of a "challenge" than selling through galleries.
