Hirst auction 'due to fetch 65m'

A London auction of new works by artist Damien Hirst is expected to fetch more than 65m, Sotheby's says.

The Beautiful Inside My Head Forever sale, features 223 lots including sketches and paintings with four items being sold for charity.

The Golden Calf - a preserved bull crowned by a solid gold disc - is expected to fetch between 8m and 12m.

Hirst said the work was being auctioned because it was more of a "challenge" than selling through galleries.
