Batman breaks box office records

The new Batman movie, The Dark Knight, has broken all box office records in its first weekend, taking some $155m.

The film has been greeted warmly by critics, with suggestions the late Heath Ledger could win a posthumous Oscar for his portrayal of the Joker.
