Gavin and Stacey actress and writer Ruth Jones is to present her own show on BBC Radio Wales.

The two-hour long show, Ruth Jones' Sunday Brunch, will start on 5 October.

Jones, who created Gavin and Stacey with James Corden, said: "I'm really looking forward to it. It'll be like having friends over for brunch."

"We'll go through the papers, have a coffee, maybe a bacon bap or two and a nice chat, y'know, just relaxed and easy - easy like Sunday morning."

Radio Wales Editor Sali Collins said: "We're thrilled that Ruth has chosen to make her radio debut on BBC Radio Wales.

"Ruth is one of British comedy's brightest stars and she's Welsh to the core, so her collaboration with Radio Wales is a perfect fit."
