Alexandra De-Gale and Mario Marconi have both been nominated by their Big Brother housemates for eviction from the Channel 4 TV series.

Alexandra, 23, clocked up nine votes, while 43-year-old Mario followed closely with seven votes.

The pair will face the public vote on Friday and one of them will be forced to leave the show.

Hundreds of Big Brother fans recently complained to media watchdog Ofcom about alleged bullying by Alexandra.

'Game playing'

Ofcom received 433 complaints about Alexandra's behaviour after she abused three fellow contestants.

Viewers saw Alex, 23, being reprimanded by Big Brother for an argument she had with Rebecca, Stephanie and Rachel.

As Alex and Mario's names were read out, Mario smiled, while Alexandra said: "Are you joking?"

Nominating Alexandra, Dale Howard said: "She's trying to be nice so she won't be up for nomination. I think she's playing a game."

Mario earnt a nomination from Jennifer Clark, who said she didn't like "the way he acts like my dad".
