Foxx settles battle with stylist

Actor and rapper Jamie Foxx has settled a legal dispute with a celebrity stylist who claimed she was never paid for work she carried out two years ago.

Stacy Young picked his wardrobe for the BET Awards and a series of publicity events for his film Miami Vice in 2006.

Foxx's team said Universal Studios, not the actor, were responsible for paying the stylist's bill.

According to court documents seen by the Associated Press, both parties have settled the matter out of court.

The amount of the financial settlement has not been released.
