Ulrika Jonsson pregnant
Ms Jonsson
Ms Jonsson is reportedly keeping quiet about the father's identity
Television star Ulrika Jonsson is pregnant with her second child, it has been confirmed.

The baby, thought to be due in November, will provide her five-year-old son Cameron with a brother or sister.

Former Gladiators host Jonsson, who had a turbulent relationship with footballer Stan Collymore, is keeping quiet about the identity of the baby's father.

Her spokeswoman said: "I can confirm that Ulrika is pregnant, but there will be no further comment, other than to say that she is very happy - but also very sick."

She said Swedish-born Jonsson, 32, would be keeping mum about the identity of the child's father, and declined to confirm when the birth was due.

The Sun newspaper said the presenter's pregnancy was confirmed by her GP after a home pregnancy test proved positive.

In 1998 Jonsson, a team captain on comedy quiz show Shooting Stars, ended her relationship with Collymore after he attacked her in a Paris bar.

The footballer was alleged to have dragged the TV star to the floor and aimed kicks at her head following a heated argument.

Collymore later apologised for the incident and described his actions as "totally reprehensible".
