Oscar-winning film composer dies
Oscar-winning film and TV composer Leonard Rosenman has died of a heart attack aged 83.

Rosenman passed away at his home at the Motion Picture & Television Country House and Hospital, a friend of the family told the Associated Press.

The star won Academy Awards in 1975 and 1976 for his work on Stanley Kubrick's Barry Lyndon and Bound for Glory.

He also won Emmy Awards for composing the music for the 1976 US drama Sybil and the film Friendly Fire.

Rosenman, originally from New York, is survived by his wife, Judie Gregg Rosenman, three children and four grandchildren.
