Rapper Kid Rock has pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from a fight in an Atlanta restaurant in 2007 in which he allegedly hit a man with a chair.
Rock used to be married to former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson
Rock, born Robert Ritchie, pleaded not guilty to five counts of battery and one count of simple battery arising from last October's incident.
The 37-year-old was arrested along with five members of his entourage.
If convicted, Rock could face up to one year in jail plus a $1,000 (£503) fine for each charge.
The incident took place on 20 October at a branch of the Waffle House chain near Atlanta, Georgia, where Rock had been performing earlier that evening.
Rock and his five co-defendants waived their rights to appear at the arraignment hearing and were represented by a lawyer.
