The Barbadian singer has had three hit albums
R&B singer Rihanna has announced rescheduled dates for two gigs she postponed on her tour of the UK.

The Umbrella star pulled out of concerts in Nottingham, Birmingham and Bournemouth under doctor's orders.

The Birmingham show will now take place on 18 December and the Nottingham gig is on 20 December. No new date for the Bournemouth show has been announced.

In a statement, the 19-year-old said she "appreciates the love and support of all her fans".

Rihanna began the tour in Paris last month and was due to end it on 21 December in Moscow, Russia.

The star, who was discovered by US rapper Jay-Z, spent ten weeks at number one earlier this year with Umbrella.

Her other hits include Pon De Replay, SOS and current single Hate That I Love You.
