Minnelli won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for the 1972 film Cabaret
A member of Liza Minnelli's staff has been arrested in Sweden for allegedly beating up a photographer who was filming the singer's performance.

Minnelli, 61, had been performing in Stockholm as part of the big gala event, A Classic Christmas Night, alongside a string of Swedish artists.

Speaking to The Associated Press police spokesman Gunnar Samuelsson confirmed the arrest.

The concert took place at Stockholm's Globe Arenas.

Minnelli won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Sally Bowles in the 1972 film Cabaret.

She won an Emmy for the 1972 TV special Liza with a Z and has also won an Tony awards in 1974 and 1978.
