Kid Rock will not face charges over an alleged scuffle with Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee at the MTV awards.
Kid Rock was married to Pamela Anderson for six months
Rock, 36, was accused of slapping and punching 45-year-old Lee at the Las Vegas show last month.
It led to Lee being removed from the ceremony while Rock was allowed to stay, although neither of the men were taken into police custody.
Clark County district attorney David Roger confirmed Rock - real name Robert James Ritchie - will not face charges.
"It's worth noting that Tommy Lee requested no prosecution relating to the incident, and there were no injuries to either person," said Dan Kulin, district attorney spokesman for Clark County District Attorney David Roger.
The scuffle allegedly broke out in the audience at the MTV Video Music Awards, on 9 September, at the Palms Hotel and Casino.
Rock was later cited for alleged "misdemeanour battery" by police.
Tommy Lee was removed from the show by security guards
Both Rock and Lee are former-husbands of actress Pamela Anderson, who was a presenter at the show.
The divorce between Rock and Anderson was finalised in February, six months after the couple had married.
Lee, a member of rock group Motley Crue, and Anderson were married for three years until 1998.
Rock still faces a misdemeanour battery charge stemming from a separate arrest in Atlanta, on 21 October.
He and five members of his entourage were cited after a brawl with a male customer at a restaurant.
