Rejected Kylie songs leak online
Kylie Minogue
X will be Kylie's tenth studio album
Two tracks which were rejected by pop singer Kylie Minogue for her next album have appeared briefly on the internet.

The songs were written and recorded with Scottish DJ Mylo for Minogue's tenth studio album, X, which is being released in November.

MP3s of the tracks, called In The Mood For Love and Spell of Desire, appeared on Mylo's website and MySpace page but has since been taken down.

Representatives for both artists were unavailable for comment.

A posting on Mylo's MySpace, which has also been removed, said the songs were "sadly not on the final track listing" for Minogue's album.

It is not clear whether they will feature on a future Mylo release or as a b-side.

Doctor Who appearance

Several other tracks purporting to be from sessions for Minogue's album have also appeared online recently - although their origins are unknown.

The Australian singer, whose UK debut single I Should Be So Lucky topped the charts in 1988, is set to appear in the Christmas edition of Doctor Who.

Her forthcoming album is her first since being diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2005.

Earlier this year, she completed her Showgirl Homecoming world tour, which had been postponed following the diagnosis.

Mylo, who is best known for his dance and electro beats, released his first album, Destroy Rock 'n' Roll, in 2005.
