Pop singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor has postponed her forthcoming tour so she can go on the road with Take That.
Ellis Bextor's hits include Murder On The Dancefloor and Catch You
The 28-year-old is to accompany the boy band as their "special guest" on all 34 UK dates of their European tour, which kicks off in Belfast on 11 October.
Ellis-Bextor's own tour has yet to be rescheduled, but tickets for the original dates will still be valid.
The star apologised to fans, saying it had proved "incredibly difficult, if not impossible, to do both".
"I'm thrilled Take That have asked me to tour with them," she added. "It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity any girl would be a fool to turn down.
"I promise you when my own tour happens next year it'll be bigger and better than ever."
Ellis-Bextor first came to attention with indie band theaudience in the mid-90s before striking gold as the guest vocalist on dance record Groovejet (If This Ain't Love) in 2000.
She has since had a successful solo career, making sophisticated pop records like Murder On The Dancefloor and Catch You.
