The divorce of pop star Britney Spears and former dancer Kevin Federline has been completed and they are no longer married, Spears's lawyer has confirmed.
The couple married in October 2004
"Everything is finalised," Laura Wasser told the Associated Press at the Superior Court in Los Angeles.
An agreement over custody of their two sons was also approved by the court.
Ms Wasser described Spears as being "OK" with the terms of the settlement, but conceded that the singer "would like to be with her kids more".
Spears married Federline in October 2004, eight months after the annulment of her first marriage, to childhood friend Jason Alexander.
But eight months ago, Spears, 25, filed for divorce.
Since February, she and Federline, 29, have shared joint custody of Sean Preston, who is two months away from his second birthday, and 10-month-old Jayden James.
The precise details of the settlement were not disclosed at the hearing.
