US television actor Shemar Moore has been given probation and community service after pleading no contest in an alcohol-related speeding case.
The 37-year-old star of Criminal Minds was arrested in California in June for speeding and was later charged with driving under the influence.
He was given 36 months probation and 80 hours of community service.
The actor has agreed not to drive with alcohol in his system and may wear an alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet.
In a statement released last month, Moore described himself as "a serious and conscientious person by nature [whose] one vice is driving fast".
"It unfortunately took something like this for me to take stock and slow down," he said.
Moore plays FBI profiler Derek Morgan on Criminal Minds, which screens in the UK on Living.
The California native previously appeared in daytime soap The Young and the Restless and the fantasy series Birds of Prey.
