Katona checks into Priory clinic

Former pop star Kerry Katona has entered famous rehabilitation centre The Priory following an armed robbery at her home in Cheshire.

Katona is being treated for bi-polar disorder, which is otherwise known as manic depression.

The singer's spokesman, Max Clifford, said she had suffered from the illness for sometime but her recent symptoms had been brought on by the robbery.

Katona was held at knifepoint during the raid on Sunday night.
