Singer George Michael is to appear in this year's festive edition of Catherine Tate's BBC comedy programme.
"It is true. He has filmed scenes that will be shown in the Christmas special," said a spokesman.
It would not be the first time that Tate, whose series has previously won a British Comedy Award, has recorded sketches with a celebrity.
A Comic Relief special saw her film with former Prime Minister Tony Blair and Bond actor Daniel Craig.
In one scene, Mr Blair was accosted by Tate's schoolgirl character Lauren, and used her famous catchphrase "Am I bovvered?" - much to Lauren's dismay.
A spokesman for the producers of the Catherine Tate Show said he was unable to explain how the collaboration with former Wham! star Michael came about, or which sketches he would appear in.
