Food poisoning halts Muse tour
Muse won a Brit award for best British live act
Muse have cancelled dates on their US tour with My Chemical Romance after members of the entourage were struck with food poisoning.

Members of My Chemical Romance's band and crew, and members of Muse's crew, became "violently ill" after a gig in the US state of Virginia on Sunday.

A number of people were treated in hospital as a result.

The bands have so far cancelled two concerts. They hope to resume the tour "as soon as possible".

Two concerts in Pennsylvania were cancelled, and a show in Columbus, Ohio, was moved from Tuesday to Wednesday night, provided everyone has recovered.

Tickets for the cancelled shows will be refunded.

Muse, who are due to play at Wembley Stadium on 16 and 17 June, were recently named best British band at this year's NME Awards, while My Chemical Romance picked up the award for best international band.
