Period drama The Painted Veil and Indian film Ta Ra Rum Rum were the only two new entries in the UK top 10, in what proved a lacklustre week at the box office.

This is England, from British director Shane Meadows, just missed the top 10, taking 207,676 in its opening week.

Internationally, road movie Wild Hogs maintains its hold on to the box office, taking $7.2m (3.59m) to reach a total haul of $55m (27.4m) outside Canada and North America.

Mr Bean's Holiday added a further $7.1m (3.54m), taking its total international gross to more than $150m (74.8m).
