Some of the biggest names in the music industry turned out for the glittering 42nd Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

Legendary musician BB King picked up the award for Best Traditional Blues Album.





Sting poses with his Grammys for best male pop vocal performance and pop album for Brand New Day.





R 'n' B trio TLC won three awards.





Whitney Houston took just one - for best female R&B vocal performance for It's Not Right But It's Okay.
