Joan Baez is headlining the festival
Baez recently received a lifetime achievement Grammy award
Legendary folk singer and activist Joan Baez and country music star Nanci Griffith are headlining this year's Cambridge Folk Festival.

The event also includes Celtic rock band The Waterboys and US singer-songwriter Steve Earle.

The festival, which is sponsored by BBC Radio 2, takes place in the grounds of Cherry Hinton Hall in Cambridge between 26 and 29 July.

Cambridge Folk Festival tickets go on sale on 6 May.

Other highlights include UK folk music star Kate Rusby, British folk rock group the Oysterband, and the seven-member Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain.

The festival will also include: Sharon Shannon, Bellowhead, Bruce Cockburn, Martin Simpson, Four Men and a Dog, James Hunter and Rachel Unthank and The Winterset.
