Taboo was released from custody on Tuesday evening
Black Eyed Peas singer Taboo, 31, has been ordered to appear in court following his arrest on suspicion of drink driving and drug possession.

Taboo, real name Jaime Luis Gomez, was taken into custody after a collision east of Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Mr Gomez will appear in court for alleged possession of small quantities of marijuana and medication without prescription, and drink driving.

He was released on Tuesday evening. A court date has not yet been set.

The Black Eyed Peas found worldwide fame with the release of their third album Elephunk in 2003, which included hits Where Is The Love? and Hey Mama.

Band member Fergie recently launched a successful solo career, alongside her work with the hip-hop group.
