Posh spices up Fashion Week

Victoria Beckham at London Fashion Week Victoria Beckham was warmly greeted by onlookers

Posh Spice Victoria Beckham was the talk of London Fashion Week - when she made her catwalk debut in a pair of tiny satin hot pants.

The 25-year-old singer was modelling for her favourite designer, Maria Grachvogel, at a show at the Natural History Museum in South Kensington.

Victoria Beckham Hot pants have been a hit at the festival
Grachovel said her show was inspired by "the free spirit of the woman who is really a gipsy, someone who travels around places".

Beckham's short spiky hair was fluffed up and she wore a tight green polo neck tank top - apparently without a bra - with a delicate trim at the hem.

She also wore a pair of tiny olive satin hotpants, with a pair of knee-length, brown, high-heeled boots.

Hot pants have been one of the themes of the week - with Spanish designer Amaya Arzuaga among many to design skimpy outfits for the winter season.

Beckham modelled the first of 46 designs, and was greeted with gasps of approval and applause from spectators.

The collection was based around a gypsy theme
She re-appeared for the show's finale, appearing in a romantic burgundy red gown, reminiscent of the dress she wore for her wedding to Manchester United footballer David Beckham.

Her strapless bodice had a skirt which was split to the top of a thigh with a flamenco twirl, finished off with bright pink piping.

She also wore a delicate black, beaded choker, which trailed down the top of her shoulder.

At the end of the 20-minute show, she re-emerged wearing a long, all-in-one, off-the-shoulder red dress with pink borders and trail.

She smiled as she strode to the end of the catwalk to pose for photographers.

At the end of the show she appeared with Maria Grachvogel, and was presented with a bouquet before leaving the stage.
