A guitar played by Marc Bolan on Top of the Pops is to go under the hammer with an estimated price of £30,000-£50,000.
Bolan played the guitar on Top Of The Pops in 1971
Bolan used the Gibson guitar to play Get It On with T Rex in 1971.
Also up for grabs is a costume worn by David Bowie for his last appearance as Ziggy Stardust at London's Marquee Club in 1973, valued at £4,000-£6,000.
A scarlet cloak worn by Freddie Mercury on Queen's 1986 European tour has the same valuation. The auction takes place at Christie's in London on 26 April.
One of Rolling Stone Keith Richards' leather jackets will be on sale with an estimated price tag of £2,000-£3,000.
And the fancy dress costumes the Arctic Monkeys wore to accept their Brit Awards recently will also go under the hammer.
The rock quartet were not at last month's ceremony, but sent acceptance videos dressed as characters from the Wizard of Oz and The Village People.
There is no builder's costume from The Village People set because the band's manager spotted a real-life builder and asked him to appear in the video in place of guitarist Nick O'Malley.
The seven costumes are expected to fetch £600-800 in total.
