Denise shows off sparkler
Denise Van Outen
Denise flashes the ring in Dublin
Television presenter, Denise Van Outen, has been showing off an engagement ring in Dublin.

She was on a night out, not with fiance Jay Kay, but with Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger.

There had been recent rumours that the television star and the singer from Jamiroquai had gone their separate ways after being together for two years.

But Denise proudly showed off a sparkling diamond as she chatted to Jagger at a fashion show in the Irish capital.

The Ex-Big Breakfast host has always been very open about her wish to marry the singer but it was only late last year that Jay Kay admitted they were planning to marry.

Rumours of a split started when there was no sign of a ring and Jay Kay admitted they were lucky if they saw each other for five days at a time.

10,000 ring

Newspaper reports on Saturday said the pop star presented her with a 10,000 diamond after a romantic meal at their mansion in Buckinghamshire.

Jay Kay and his band are one of the UK's biggest musical exports.

While Denise Van Outen has become a press favourite since her time at The Big Breakfast.

She has had mixed success since leaving the show early last year - her new Channel 4 series, Something For The Weekend, has been panned by critics, but her acting career has been given a boost with a role in the British film Tube Tales.
