It will be the first time Daniel Craig has presented an Oscar

James Bond star Daniel Craig has been lined up to present an Oscar at the Academy Awards ceremony, which take place later this month.

It is a busy month for Craig, who will be hoping to win his first Bafta on Sunday for his role in Casino Royale.

Pierce Brosnan, the previous actor to play 007, presented an Oscar in 1996, a year after he made his James Bond debut in the movie, GoldenEye.

The 79th Academy Awards will take place on 25 February.

Former Oscar winners Nicole Kidman and Reece Witherspoon are also among those presenting awards on the night.
