US actress Farrah Fawcett has made a complete recovery from cancer, her spokesman has announced.
The former Charlie's Angels star, who celebrated her 60th birthday on Friday, has made a "full response" to treatment and has an "excellent prognosis".
The actress said in October that she was fighting the disease, but did not disclose which type of cancer.
Fawcett has appeared in a series of films and TV mini-series, securing three Emmy award nominations.
Reunited
She starred in one series of Charlie's Angels, making a number of guest appearances in subsequent seasons.
The actress said it was an "extraordinarily happy day", adding: "I hope that my news might offer some level of inspiration to others who unfortunately must continue to fight the disease."
Her spokesman Mike Pingel said that the actress expected to return to work "in the next month or two".
Last year Fawcett was reunited with Charlie's Angels co-stars Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson at a tribute to the late TV mogul Aaron Spelling.
