Singer Urban ends rehab treatment
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban
Kidman and Urban married in Australia back in June
Country singer Keith Urban has finished his treatment in a US rehabilitation clinic for alcohol abuse.

The 39-year-old, who married actress Nicole Kidman in June, now plans to go on a world tour to promote his album, Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing.

He sought treatment just before the album came out in November, so delayed the original tour. He is due to play shows in the UK and Germany in April.

The Australian singer has previously had an addiction to cocaine.

Despite the lack of promotion, Urban's album still reached number one in the country charts and produced two hit singles, Once in a Lifetime and Stupid Boy.

In November the singer received a standing ovation at the 40th Annual Country Music Association Awards - despite being unable to attend. He won male vocalist of the year for the second year in a row.

He also won a best country male vocalist Grammy award last year for You'll Think of Me.
