Aniston and Cox reunite for drama
Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston
Cox and Aniston will play rival tabloid editors in the drama
Friends stars Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox are to team up again for the first time since the long-running US sitcom ended in 2004.

Aniston will make a guest appearance in an episode of Dirt, which explores the relationship between the entertainment industry and US tabloid magazines.

Cox plays ruthless editor Lucy Spiller, and Aniston will appear as a rival.

The series, which airs on FX Networks, is executive produced by Cox and her husband, David Arquette.

Dirt is Cox's most high-profile project since Friends ended, while Aniston has starred in Hollywood films Derailed and The Break-Up.

The episode, which will end the drama's opening series, will be aired in the US on 27 March.
