ITN staff to strike over pensions
Two strikes are to be staged by journalists and broadcasting workers at ITN, which provides news for ITV1 and Channel 4, in a row over pensions.

There will be a 24-hour stoppage on 16 January, along with further action a week later, by members of the National Union of Journalists and Bectu.

The dispute centres around proposed changes to ITN's pensions scheme.

Bectu said the action would seriously hit output but ITN insisted it would be able to broadcast "a full schedule".
