Oprah sued over audience 'injury'
Oprah Winfrey
Ms Milner attended a recording of Oprah Winfrey's show on 11 April
A woman has begun legal proceedings against TV presenter Oprah Winfrey, claiming she was hurt in a rush for seats during a recording of her show.

Tayna Milner said she was pushed down stairs on her way to sit in the audience last April, the Chicago Tribune reported.

She alleged that she was injured and has accused staff at the studio of failing to properly control the crowd.

She was seeking more than $50,000 (£25,900) in damages, the Tribune said.

Neither Ms Milner's lawyer nor Harpo Studios would comment on the case.
