Norton to launch show on BBC Two
Graham Norton
Norton left Channel 4 for the BBC in 2004
TV star Graham Norton is to present a weekly chat show on BBC Two early next year, the BBC has confirmed.

The 43-year-old star has fronted late-night talk programme The Bigger Picture, on BBC One, since last year.

He is also known for the BBC's dancing competition Strictly Dance Fever, and hit the headlines in October when he admitted he had tried "loads of drugs".

Precise details of the format and transmission times of his new show have not yet been released.

Norton signed a new three-year deal with the BBC in August, having joined from Channel 4 in 2004.

The BBC was unable to confirm reports at the time that his agreement was valued at up to 5m.
