Moss wants to be model mum
Kate Moss admits she is more broody than ever
Supermodel Kate Moss has said that she longs for a baby - and may not bother waiting for the right man to come along to father it.

"If I haven't met Mr Right in a few years I'm going to do it anyway. Definitely," she told The Big Issue magazine.

Pal: Cindy Crawford gave birth to Presley Walker Gerber in July
The 25-year-old catwalk star added: "I think it's okay to do that nowadays. Although a couple of my friends are single parents and I know they find it hard."

Croydon-born Moss is surrounded by fellow supermodels, such as Cindy Crawford and Elle Macpherson, who have given birth in recent months.

She admits that this has made her more broody than ever.

"Before I was never really around babies, but now everyone seems to be having a baby, loads of my friends," she said.

"I'm broody anyway, I love kids, but it kind of makes me think about it a lot more."

Her showbiz pal Meg Mathews, wife of Oasis star Noel Gallagher, is also due to give birth in January.

No hurry to marry: Stars Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones
But Moss, who has been previously linked with actor Johnny Depp, adds that she is weary of the type of high profile boyfriends she has dated in the past.

"I did go for those moody artist types - at least that's my track record so far, but I'm a bit tired of them to be honest."

Another superstar contemplating single parenthood is Welsh actress Catherine Zeta Jones.

The Hollywood star said there were "no words of marriage" between herself and boyfriend Michael Douglas but added that she wouldn't mind being a single mother if she 'found out' she was pregnant.
