TV cook Nigella Lawson is making her first series for the BBC with three programmes based on Christmas food.
The series has a working title of Nigella's Christmas Kitchen.
"I'm absolutely delighted to welcome Nigella to BBC Two," said the channel's controller Roly Keating.
"Nigella is a uniquely talented and distinctive cook," he added.
One of her tips will be to show viewers how to cook a fool-proof turkey.
Lawson will visit a Salzburg Christmas market during one programme and much of the series will focus on how to avoid the stress often associated with festive entertaining.
Lawson has previously presented shows on both Channel 4 and ITV1.
Last year, she fronted a daytime chat show for ITV1 but audiences were poor and it received bad reviews from critics.
