Deja Vu knocked Colombian star Shakira's Hips Don't Lie into second place after three weeks at number one.

Justin Timberlake saw his first single in three years, Sexyback, enter at 13 on download sales alone. It goes on general sale on Monday.

Snow Patrol's Eyes Open climbed to the top of the album chart.

The rock band replaced Christina Aguilera's Back to Basics, which slipped to number two, followed by James Morrison with Undiscovered.

The highest new entry in the album chart was OutKast's Idlewild, while Leicestershire-based band The Young Knives achieved a new entry at 21 with Voices of Animals and Men.

US socialite Paris Hilton's first attempt at a singing career saw her eponymous debut album enter the UK chart at number 29.

Other acts to break into the top 20 singles chart include Morrissey with In the Future All's Well at 17, and Keane with Crystal Ball at 20, in the week lead singer Tom Chaplin entered a drug rehabilitation clinic.
