Stones announce further US dates
Sir Mick Jagger
Sir Mick said he was "very excited" about returning to North America
The Rolling Stones have announced more dates in the US and Canada as part of their ongoing A Bigger Bang tour.

The second leg of their North American tour begins in Boston on 20 September and ends in Los Angeles on 18 November.

"We're going to play many cities we didn't get to before and also return to some of our favourite places," said Sir Mick Jagger in a video statement.

Keith Richards, whose recent accident forced the postponement of some dates in Europe, said he was "feeling great".

"I'm really happy that we got some more gigs in America and Canada," he continued. "I thought we left too soon."

"Keith's well, his head's better, he's playing well and enjoying himself," added Jagger.

The veteran rockers kicked off their world tour in Boston last August and have since played to more than 4.5 million fans.

The band will perform at the Stade de France in Paris on Friday before travelling to Amsterdam, Stuttgart and Zurich.
