Long-running children's wildlife series The Really Wild Show is coming to an end after 21 years.
Fronted by Michaela Strachan, Steve Backshall and Nick Baker, the BBC One show began in 1985 and has won three Bafta awards.
A BBC spokeswoman said: "It has been a fantastic series, but we are now looking at developing something new for natural history on CBBC."
The series, which also runs on Animal Planet in the US, will end this summer.
Previous presenters include Terry Nutkins and Chris Packham, who hosted the show in its early days in the mid-80s.
Praised for its mix of education and entertaiment, the show - which sees presenters travel all over the world in search of rare natual phenomena - won the Bafta for best children's factual programme in 1987, 1988 and 1990 and was nominated a further three times.
