Photographer Bob Carlos Clarke has died in an accident. He was in his 50s.
Irish-born Clarke, who moved to Britain in 1964, was renowned for fashion, portrait and commercial photograpy, and creating a series of books.
In 1975 he graduated from the Royal College of Art with an MA in photography, and directed a series of high-profile advertisement campaigns.
He was well-known for capturing the female nude and a series of images showing a spoon and fork intertwined.
The Illustrated Delta of Venus, Obsession, The Dark Summer and Shooting Sex from 2003 are among his collections of photographs.
