The BBC is to make an epic documentary on the history of the Olympics which will air in the run-up to the 2012 games in London.
Nadia Comaneci scored a perfect 10 in the 1976 Olympics in Montreal
Five hour-long programmes have already been sold to 22 territories.
Faster, Higher, Stronger will tell the stories behind memorable Olympic moments, using unseen archive footage and interviews with sports stars.
Drugs and racism will also be covered by the BBC Bristol team which created the World Cup Stories series.
Each of the five programmes will focus on one episode in the Olympic story which represents a major theme.
The influence of the Cold War will be seen through the story of Nadia Comaneci, who was first put under pressure by her native Romania to become the first gymnast to be awarded a perfect 10 score.
