Brown made his name in US group New Edition before going solo

US singer Bobby Brown has been arrested for motor vehicle offences dating back 14 years.
The 37-year-old was arrested last week in Webster, Massachusetts, after a police officer made a warrant check.
Webster Police chief Timothy Bent said the check revealed two minor charges - unlicensed operation of a vehicle, and having an uninsured trailer.
Mr Bent said: "He was very forthright in wanting to clear this up. He probably didn't know he had this."
'Co-operative'
Brown, who is married to singer Whitney Houston, was in Webster last Friday to watch his daughter in a school cheerleading tournament.
Mr Bent said Mr Brown was "very co-operative" and was allowed to drive - with his bodyguard - to the police station after the cheerleading event.
Mr Brown was held for about one hour, and was released on a $40 (£23) bond.
Maurice Bennett, Mr Brown's lawyer, did not immediately return a telephone call to comment.
Mr Brown lives in Alpharetta, Georgia, with Houston and their child. He has two children with his former partner Kim Ward, of Stoughton, Massachusetts.
He rose to fame as a member of New Edition, and in 1988 had a hit solo album, Don't Be Cruel.
