Tony Blair
Mr Blair has previously been interviewed on Richard and Judy
Tony Blair will be a guest on ITV1 chat show Parkinson alongside singer Andrea Bocelli, pop star Christina Aguilera and actor Kevin Spacey.

It will be the first time a serving prime minister has been on Parkinson.

"I'm delighted... I've never interviewed him before," host Michael Parkinson told ITV's This Morning show.

"He's a fascinating man," he added. Mr Blair will be the first guest on the new series which starts on Saturday.

"It'll be good. You put in your requests and hope that one day he'll say yes," said Parkinson, 70.

The host recently signed a new deal with ITV which will extend his contract with the channel until autumn 2007.
