Actor Tom Cruise has branded a story suggesting he is to split from pregnant fiancee Katie Holmes "100% false".
Holmes and Cruise announced their engagement in June 2005
The denial came after US magazine Life & Style printed a report suggesting the pair will separate after the birth of their child in the spring.
"Despite the malicious fallacies, the couple is looking forward to a long and happy life together as a family," said a statement issued by their publicist.
The couple are expected to get married later in the year.
"Mr Cruise and Ms Holmes are still engaged and are moving forward with their wedding plans, as well as planning for the arrival of their child," the statement continued.
The celebrity couple began dating in April last year, becoming engaged two months later when Cruise, 43, proposed to the former Dawson's Creek star, 27, at the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
The pair are currently living in Cruise's Beverly Hills home in Los Angeles.
Life & Style magazine said its story was based on information from unnamed sources described only as "multiple insiders".
"We stand 100% behind our story," said a representative for the magazine.
Cruise has been married twice before, and has two adopted children with his previous wife, actress Nicole Kidman.
The War of the Worlds star returns to the big screen in the Mission: Impossible III, due to be released in early May.
