US singer Norah Jones is to make her acting debut in a film from Hong Kong director Wong Kar-wai, according to Screen Daily.
With the working title My Blueberry Nights, it will be Wong's first English-language film, the report said.
He previously directed 2046 and Fa Yeung Nin Wa, which were both nominated for the Palme d'Or at Cannes.
Jones, the daughter of Indian musician Ravi Shankar, won eight Grammys in 2003 for her debut album Come Away With Me.
Her second album Feels Like Home, which showcased her mixture of jazz and pop, topped the US charts a year later.
Wong is also set to direct Nicole Kidman in Lady from Shanghai but production has been pushed back to 2007.
