Science evicted from Big Brother

Science cites his job as musician and entertainment entrepreneur

Rapper Science has become the eighth housemate evicted from Big Brother.

Real name Kieron Harvey, Science had been nominated with Orlaith McAllister, a late entrant and former Miss Northern Ireland model of the year runner-up.

The Leeds man, notorious for his loud arguing, received 50.5% of the public vote, the closest margin ever.

On hearing news of his eviction, the 22-year-old said: "I'm a little gutted, obviously, but what can you say? It's just the way it's meant to be."

Ladbrokes had given Science - also famed for his chicken cooking skills - odds of 4/11 following a week of rows with fellow contestants in the Channel 4 reality TV show.

Orlaith's odds for eviction had slipped from 5/6 to 2/1. The 26-year-old was known to be unhappy, apparently feeling depressed as the show continues.
